　　2006年澳大利亚国立大学进行全校学院架构改组，NGSM与原本的经济学与商务学院（Faculty of Economics and Commerce）一起并入新成立的ANU商学与经济学院（ANU College of Business and Economics；CBE）。2011年底，CBE提案经校务委员会审核同意，进行组织再造，将其下辖的四个学群（Schools），全部升格并改名为研究院（Research Schools）。
