Tuition fees Academic Year 2012 - 2013

The statutory tuition fee (set by the Dutch Government) for EEA students 2012 - 2013 is € 1,771. For NON-EEA students and for students who wish to enrol in degree programmes in Expression - Music and Design other fees apply. For the exact tuition fees you will have to use the wizard.

EEA students 2011 - 2012　

EEA* students who enrol for the first time in the 2011 – 2012 Academic Year as Bachelor degree programme students at the Fontys University of Applied Sciences will be obliged to pay tuition fees of EUR 1,713 as required by Dutch law.

This amount applies to all students, of all EU/EEA nationalities, who are no less than 18 years of age and no more than 30 years of age at the commencement of their studies. An irrevocable prerequisite is also that for the duration of your studies, you must formally reside in The Netherlands, in Belgium or in one of the following German states: Nordrhein Westfalen (North Rhine-Westphalia), Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony) or Bremen (Bremen).

With regard to students who have enrolled in non-state-funded course programmes, other tuition fees apply. For further information, please refer to the relevant Course Department.

Please note that expenses relating to books and readers are not included in the tuition fees.

Non-EEA students 2011 - 2012

Non-EU/EEA students who enrol for the first time in the 2011 – 2012 Academic Year as Bachelor degree programme students at the Fontys University of Applied Sciences will be obliged to pay tuition fees of EUR 5,500.

Students enrolled in degree programmes in Expression – Music – Design will be obliged to pay tuition fees of EUR 9,000.

Exceptions are as follows:

For students enrolled in non-state-funded course programmes, other tuition fees apply. Please refer to the relevant Course Department.
Students who are eligible for Dutch ‘studiefinanciering’ (student grants and loans) are also eligible to pay tuition fees of EUR 1,713 as required by Dutch law. This must be requested by the students in question and specific documentation will be required.
